Delete your account
You can delete your Hopwire account and all associated data at any time, in two ways:
In the app
Open Hopwire, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. This is instant and doesn't require contacting us.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, or can't sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your profile and email address
- Your registered devices and WireGuard keys
- Your usage history (daily and monthly totals, session records)
Aggregate, de-identified usage totals that can no longer be tied to a live account may be retained for capacity planning. See our privacy policy for details.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed within 7 days.
